Job Type: Part-time paid position (approximately 5-8 hours per week)


About Birthright of Woodbridge:


Birthright of Woodbridge is a non-profit organization committed to providing support and resources to individuals facing unplanned pregnancies. Our mission is to empower women and ensure they have the necessary tools and support to make informed decisions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized part-time Executive Director (5-8 hours per week) to join our team and contribute to our organization’s mission of loving both mothers and their babies.


Job Description:


As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing Birthright of Woodbridge's operations and fundraising and will report to the Board of Directors on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a passion for supporting women and babies, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer management to include recruitment and training
  • Cultivate community collaborations to increase awareness of, donations to, and volunteers for Birthright of Woodbridge
  • Provide oversight of all office operations
  • Develop relationships with like-minded area organizations
  • Manage client events to include our monthly baby shower
  • Address and  respond to complex client needs
  • Direct fundraising efforts
  • Oversee the publication and distribution of at least one annual newsletter
  • Represent Birthright of Woodbridge at the annual Birthright International Conference
  • Report at least quarterly to the Birthright of Woodbridge Board


Qualifications:

  • Passion for supporting individuals facing unplanned pregnancies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in program coordination or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
